Lloyd Webber, Mackintosh and Blavatnik make Sunday Times Rich List

Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cameron Mackintosh and Leonard Blavatnik are among the figures featured in the 2026 Sunday Times Rich List.

Lloyd Webber was ranked 260th on this year’s list with an estimated fortune of £516m, an increase of £16m compared with 2025, when he was positioned at 273.

Mackintosh was ranked 118th, up from 124 last year, with wealth valued at £1.4bn, up £100m from 2025.

Mackintosh owns and operates eight West End theatres through Delfont Mackintosh Theatres and has produced shows including Les MisérablesHamilton and The Phantom of the Opera.

Blavatnik was ranked third overall – the same position as in 2025 – with an estimated fortune of £26.852bn, up by £1.127bn.

The Ukraine-born businessman reportedly spent about £45m buying the Theatre Royal Haymarket and has built much of his wealth through his controlling stake in Warner Music.

The annual rankings estimated the combined wealth of Britain’s 350 richest individuals and families at £784bn, a 1.4 per cent rise on last year.

US producer John Gore is ranked 69 on the list, with wealth of £2.25bn.

Elton John, the composer of The Devil Wears Prada and The Lion King, was placed at 277, higher than his position of 283 in 2025, with wealth worth £480 million.

Lloyd Dorfman – who gives his name to the Dorfman Theatre at the National – is 214 on the list, with wealth of £721m.

Other entertainment figures featured this year included Noel and Liam Gallagher following Oasis’s reunion tour, alongside Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis and Queen musicians Brian May and Roger Taylor.
